21 Days of Prayer – Day 21

21 Days of Prayer - Day 21

Congratulations! You’ve made it through 21 Days of Prayer.

My prayer is that you did more that just make it through. I hope you learned how essential it is to talk to God on a daily basis and that your relationship with him grew deeper than you ever thought possible.

Now I have one last thing to teach you in this study on prayer.

Continue in it!

Don’t fall for the enemy’s schemes and think you don’t have to diligently continue in prayer. You need it, the church needs it and the world needs it.

But don’t just take my word for it. Look at what God’s word has to say about continuing in prayer.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42-43

Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. Romans 12:12

Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Philippians 4:6

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Colossians 4:2

There is no doubt that God wants his people (that means you) to continue in prayer.

He said, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Now who doesn’t want that? Keep on praying. It’s not the end. It’s just the beginning.

Day 21 Prayer Verse:

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Day 21 Prayer:

  • Pray that God would give you a heart for prayer.
  • Pray for this land.
  • Pray for the church.
